Description

Fenugreek is both a herb (the leaves), and a spice (the seeds). The aroma has a strong maple syrup resemblance, the taste however is the opposite and is quite bitter if ingested by itself. Used as a balance in curries from Sri Lanka and India and is an essential ingredient in the Indian blend of Panch Phora.
